Keepsake Ornaments and Embellishments

It has truly been an eventful few days...we returned from the beach on Wednesday, after a wonderful visit with my father-in-law...he will be 91 on the 16th and still going strong!  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday locked myself in the craft room and started designing for the first of three Christmas classes.  Sunday, finished the final details for class and then designed a card for a bridal shower in the afternoon.  Whoo....my brain is tired, now its time to relax. 

Here is a sampling of the fun projects we will be making in the October 26th class:

 

We will be using the new Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments framelits dies featured in the 2012 Holiday Catalog.  No hand cutting here!  I used five of the nine stamps in the set and still could have designed more.  I tried some traditional colors as well as non and they all turned out beautiful.  The possibilities are endless!

Fall Fun

Fall is upon us now...leaves are turning, the nights are very chilly and the garden is winding down.  It makes me want to put on a pot of stew and warm up some spiced cider.  How fun!

 

For stamp club last night I created this fun card, my inspiration came from Daniela Sucker's (Berlin/Germany) card using the French Foliage stamp set.  I used the naturals white card stock for the base, basic black for the first layer, old olive for the second and whisper white for the picture.  Accessories were the brushed bronze designer buttons and hemp twine.  Your choice of greetings can be used, for this one I used a greeting from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.  This was made using the masking technique, it's very quick and easy.  I'll definitely use this again.

 



 

Another fun and very easy project...little treat bags for the ladies.  Made from the Ghoulish Googlies Bundle.  Too cute!
